Must must must write a new journal!! What a shame that I've taken so long to bore you once again Seriously though I actually feel like I've forgotten how to do one So please forgive me if I do something dumbass like feature pictures I've already featured before, for example.

So anyway it's so nearly December and not only have I not posted any Christmas postcards and such yet, but the last time I wrote a journal was October And my birthday is just over 30 days away. 30 being a good number (date!) to remember in that regard

I am glad to say the two lucky 'winners' of free postcards from the last journal received them and as far as I know they haven't burnt their less-than-amazing cards, yay Today I printed a few of my own postcards except they're a bit too fragile to send like regular/normal/ordinary postcards, so I'll need to envelope them And perhaps not taint them by writing on the back of them, we shall see. But at least they feature photos taken by me rather than shop cards and each one is different with pictures never printed before (how exclusive and exciting, yes? I do also have a few 'rofessional' postcards to send. Plus hoping to send a few other tiny items too, but I haven't bought most of these mystery items yet. A mystery even to me, I might add.

Plus if anyone out there wants a very miniature calendar with pics from my country let me know under this journal and if I don't already have your address, tell me in a note please. I can only promise ONE (therefore the first request!), but I'm going to send out four others too, probably to friends I already have the addresses of

So if anyone is eager for a postcard-ish type thing from me, please say so , either under here or in a note with your address plz. I'm really going to try to send them out in this coming week, but I apologise if things get there later than Christmas. As far as I am concerned being generous is something we can be any day of the year. And we must be generous to ourselves too, to our own needs

I am very pleased with my 2010 calendar by =parochena a supersweet wonderful friend! It arrived a few days ago in perfect condition and smelling so yummy too. These are her photos below. I'm afraid if I take indoors ones of my own one, the quality will not be too good! Anyway the calendar looks even better (perfect!) than in her photos, which she also took in low light I got a personalised one via her Etsy shop



I must apologise, I think, for not replying to perhaps as many messages as I usually would've. And also often being slow to reply. I have already nearly stopped commenting etc on Flickr, which I hate because I have friends there. I hate disappointing people and I suppose I do disappoint people all the time when they don't get as much attention from me as they'd like, but I don't love you less, I promise. I've been very busy with writing and even when I'm not doing the actual writing, when the ideas form inside me etc, that also takes a lot of concentration and time etc. So I think I told you in the last journal I wrote over 60 NEW pages and now it's 160. So like 100 pages since the previous one. I must say I would never have thought I'd do that, I surprise myself, which is actually a good thing Whew, it is tough yet exciting, but also scary cos I dunno where this extra section is going to end, or WHEN! HA. But I'm flowing with it. And it does mean I'm less available and active. Not that I have been very available, have I? For chatting and such. Oh well, I do my best everyday. It's been a real Novel November for me, working so much on my massive book.

I nearly died at the dentist a few weeks ago and I still have to look forward to going back or to a different one sometime, buuuuut let's not talk about that cos I might stab someone Or... You think I'm calm all the time? Huh. I loooove my black New Balance trainers/sneakers, but I kicked the kitchen bin with the right one earlier. Yeeeees I used to do karate, a long time ago I did actually, but didn't do it for long Why did I kick it? Oh who knows? A boiling up of frustrations, like I was making a postcard and lost the prep pics and then an ant walked across one of them, so first I got rid of it and then I kicked the rubbish bin. I try not to be violent everyday, I promise

I may still think of other news I wanted to share, but I think now it's about time I featured the gorgeous art I received in the past few weeks

And then, teehee this is a pony version of me by my darling friend She based it on one of the Pony Maker versions I made of myself (ChocoliciousCaracreMelody ) And it is sooooooooo nyummmmy! She also did a very adorable thing and added two of my little characters, Keryn and Jem, to the background Sooooooooooooooo uber-sweet! ( _{Keryn and Jem are also the two lion cubs in the pic above} )



My lovely friend did a wonderful picture of my character, Melle, in one of her horsey styles. She chose to make her draft-ish, but still delicate. And she also based the beachy background on one of my own photographs of a puppy on a beach, which is so sweet! Plus she uploaded a simple background version

(The deviations aren't there now, but those are the thumbs above. )

Back to Jem and Keryn, here they are as people, which is their true/main form With their sister, Keysha. did three fast commishes for me before starting a cool internship with a cartoonist and I was very pleased to get them.

Next up is... Keryn again (she is a range of ages in my story ) with her parents, by the lovely Javiera It was so funny when I saw Celeste's pants, the colour and style cos I used to have a pair that looked like them




Of course my new avatar was also a pic I got recently! It's from one of my commishes by and the animation was done by so thanks again, bud!

Next up by the wonderful is a set of two pictures of Robbie and Melle. She did them as two separate commishes, but also knowing I wanted them side by side, so this is the final product



(yes I put it there twice on purpose! Cos it's two-in-one- and looks so small here haha)

Unless I have forgotten anything the final one received in the past few weeks is this rich and kitty-filled illustration of my dear tiny character, Rain. Yes human size, but small. Haha. By the very talented And it's her birthday today - not sure she's been on dA today though Hope a fairy brings you special things, thanks again for Rain's special pic with her kittens and fairy

Did you know, even when you're not having fun time can fly? I guess having a lot to do leaves you feeling like you're in too-slow-motion If I have been quiet in some ways lately or sssslooowwww or inactive (no fun polls, no uploads, nothing ) it is mostly because I have been pretty busy writing new stuff for my book. Like over 60 000 words (in over 60 pages) during the past 8 weeks. So now it's over 700 pages long Yeah I know, it means almost nothing when I haven't got it finished, properly printed, bound and ready to read yet. But anyway, that has taken up a lot of my time and dedication. Tough, but cool too!
I have two extra postcards here - first two people to claim them will get them (as long as you note me your proper postal address!)

The other day I got such a SWEET and lovely gift from ~Happylovelycherry A gorgeous tin/canister (Muumi/Moomin) filled with a bag of Finnish sweeties/candy I haven't finished (Finnished? ) the delish sweets yet, but it won't take much longer. There are so many buttermilk and butterscotch ones in there, so that's a real treat since I love those flavours Here is a bad pic of the pretty tin (it is bigger in reality ) :

Oh I actually uploaded a whole bunch of artwork today, into my scrapbook Though they are not at all scraps, they are commissions etc, done for me over the last while, which I have already advertised in past journals and have on my shoutboard etc, but they weren't (on dA) deviations. Time to sprinkle my journal with new pictures again And this week I believe Spring is here (but Autumn/Fall for most of you, I think?)

Argh, I killed a flea the other day. I hadn't seen one in years, but there are some pets in the area, especially owned by one particularly aggravating neighbour, so maybe that's where it came from. And I don't react well to insect bites Anyway I've been having to nurse some nasty itches/bumps. That's my grumpy news for the day.

I do have to thank wonderfully awesome people on dA for having their pretty ways of cheering me up when I need it

I'm expecting a package from Finland this coming week from my friend,

The other day I got in the (snail)mail a superbly long, creative and supersweet (plus funneh!) letter from my dear bud In addition to the letter she sent me sweet little stickers of a cute blue bird PLUS ++++ a chibi drawing of my character, Robbie. I didn't know of its existence till it arrived and then after I got that surprise, she uploaded it to dA (the scan she made before mailing it to me ) So kisses again for her heh. Yes he's supposed to be looking blue here:

Sounds a bit like dumb and dumber, my journal title. Which is good cos I feel both shy and dumb

OMG I have too many commishes and gifts to include in this journal, but if I delay it any longer I will have even more. And sorry to a few lovely people I am supposed to be sending details to, for example And to anyone else who feels I have been a slacker lately, I'm sorry I've been writing some new stuff for the post-epilogue part of my book (what a dork), 12 intense pages in the past few days, and yeah it's taken a lot, but also boosted me a lot (I hope lol)

Oh yeah I had a brainwave a week or more ago (a rare occurrence, as you can imagine ) and managed to make my Character Collection icons to the right of this journal clickable and if you hover over those seven pix you'll even see what you will find if you click on them Yeahhhh I'm so brilliant.
And I added a Sweet Tweets box just below that with some shameless promotion. Yeah, I dunno, I felt it would be nice if a musician who writes his own songs, sings super-soulfully, plays several instruments, makes me dance, believes in true love, does whatever he can (at this point) for people who have been abused etc etc... It would help if he had more than just a few followers on Twitter. Or even if it doesn't help, I said I'd advertise my favourite musician's (indeed fave person's) account [link] in my next (this) journal, so yup. Sorry if I sound kinda odd about it, but I have my reasons

Well although this journal will be long, I am trying to make it long with art, not long with my talking/writing. And I know I don't have to put my commishes and gifts in my journal (I know there's a slideshow of most of them on my profile page - yes I do know - and I know I put them on my shoutboard and I know I too much), but I still want to, mkay?

Now, oh my Goooooooood, I have many lovely pictures to share, not just the commissions and gifts, but the 'usual' features too. I may have to try to reduce the number of them even though there are so many I'd love to have in here.

One of my commishes I'll save for the next journal, I think, because it's not on dA (now) anyway and it's one of two pics in the same commish order anyway and I don't have the second one yet. Yeah, I was stunned when a day or two after *eldery gave me that picture of RhYthm & RhYme above, she decided to do me another one of RhYthm, all winged and flying Woohoo. It looks almost like one picture with two 'windows' the way I've pasted them, which is of course entirely intentional on my part You may think, Wow you're lucky to get so many pictures in two weeks, but... I needed them, so I'm very grateful

*Baby-Blue-Bell had a free day the other day and wanted suggestions for a picture - I wanted ponies, hehe, and I said she could even draw my RhYthm and RhYme, but then maybe I could buy her a sub. So she was like, what, a sandwich? Anyway, to cut a medium-length story short, I was rather amazed when she uploaded her epic pic featuring a number of ponies and more! That's her OC, Matt, on the front pony. And she'd already agreed to do a commish for me of R&R in exchange for a sub ( _{premium membership} ), but wow she also included them in her group pic which I adore and I do believe it deserves a lot more accolades! Well then the next day it was when she uploaded my commish pic And she did the sunsetty, beachy background as inspired by one of my photos So sweet and cool!
