I wrote this little 'lyric' a month or two ago:
PALOMINO PERFECTION:
They may not be
Friends of yours
But they naturally are
Pals of mine
Those yellow fellows
Those mellow mares
Those pearly ponies
Those honey 'bears'
Some are butterscotch
Some are cream
The true golden coins
Canter in between
A few flaxen pallies
Have that glittery sheen
But whatever the hue
All my faves are a dream

The gorgeous photograph above belongs to my friend Carrie Johnson. That is her beautiful mostly Arabian stallion called Cognac's Kokepelli (or Pelli for short). He is without a doubt one of my favourites palominos! Carrie's horse/equine photography can be viewed here: [link]
