His Naughtiness

So yesterday at Glencairn Beach, a guy with two dogs arrived. The beach had been empty for the first few minutes my friend and I were there. I wanted to try and get photos of the puppy. The other dog was its mother, it turned out. And it was the first time the puppy was on a beach. Apparently the owner was trying to tire him out because he is a troublemaker. 7 weeks old and one of a litter of 6 I think. Buuuuuut the dogs were just too active to get pictures of. Plus I didn't want to take up lots of this poor man's time. The puppy was mad about me for some reason and it was so soft and squirmy and when I tried to take a photo when it was near me it grabbed my camera strap (you'll see in the first pic!) Imagine that, I still got a shot of most of its face anyway. So the owner said he thought the only way I'd get pics is if we picked it up. So I picked up the wriggly thingie who kept still then. You'll see me holding it (bottom left corner when you're looking at it). No I'm not trying to strangle it, I promise, even though it assaulted my camera. Then I got my friend to hold him for another couple of photos.

It's a Staffie or a part-Staffie (Staffordshire Terrier). Oh it was a darling, but very very naughty.

I might scrap this sometime soon even though I think the puppy does look adorable and the lighting is good.
